ownership & culture

own a part of the company you work for.

Fat Potato has always been built around people. Since 2016, we have grown from a family-run business into a close team of engineers, delivery leads and problem solvers who care about doing good work, supporting each other and building things properly. As we look ahead, we are setting a clear direction for the coming years: to become an Employee Ownership Trust. In simple terms, that means building towards a model where the business is owned by its employees and run for their long-term benefit. It is a way of protecting the culture we have created, keeping Fat Potato independent and making sure the people who help build the company can share in its success. This is a direction we have been carefully working towards, and one we believe fits the company we are trying to build. We want Fat Potato to be more than a place people pass through. We want it to be a business where talented people can do meaningful work, grow with us and feel genuinely invested in what comes next. For anyone thinking about joining us, that means something important: you are not just applying for a role. You are joining a company being shaped around the people who make it work.
